As the world’s largest equestrian youth charity, The Pony Club supports young people up to the age of 25, with more than 30,000 Members in the UK alone. Whether or not you own a horse or pony, there’s a membership option for everyone.

As a Member, you’ll have the opportunity to enhance your horsemanship, riding and take part in a wide range of activities while developing vital skills. Our shared love for horses and ponies brings us together, allowing you to enjoy a variety of ridden and non-ridden activities with others who share your passion. To get started, you’ll need to sign up via The Pony Club UK website. There is an initial £47 joining fee, and by choosing a Centre Membership, you can participate in all the activities without needing to own your own pony.  Join Now | The Pony Club UK

The Pony Club sessions are an hour long on Thursdays 4-5pm, costing £12. Some of the resources require the members to be proficient readers so we are starting membership at 7 years old at the time being. These are practical theory-based sessions, working on the achievement badges, with each badge taking about 4-6 weeks to teach and then a badge exam to test and get their badges. These are then sewn onto their jumpers.

Achievement badges provide a fun and interactive way for members to develop their knowledge of horsemanship and give them the opportunity to develop the skills to care for Horses and Ponies to the highest possible standards. ​​
